Backyard chickens

Here are some younger backyard Rhode Island Red chickens my family is raising. Some of my neighbors must think we are weird for having chickens and not living on a farm, but hey, free all natural cage free eggs! They’re pretty smart, or should I say instinctive too. Rhode Island Reds are known for a very abundant year round egg laying. You can get around 300 eggs a year from a single chicken!
